René is an exceptionally versatile consultant, having had the privilege of working across several enterprise architecture domains, from technology infrastructure, application and database design and development, IT security, business intelligence and governance. She has concentrated on the Insurance ERP market for some time, where customers have benefited from her experience in managing technical teams in addition to her Subject MAtter Expertise on insurance and Technology implementation.

René’s first love remains technology, having been involved with designing, building and maintaining solutions across multiple platforms including large scale enterprise applications, Internet- and intranet-based applications and mobile applications. She has diverse experience, having also been responsible for managing IT services in a large and complex environment, as well as creating a project management office capability for a product development organisation.

With twenty years of this experience she has participated in, and led many exciting projects. Moving between several different roles as required.

While  equally comfortably in a technical or management role, René prefers mainly technical delivery oriented roles, often playing a hands-on governance or management role in addition to the technical/SME role.
